How Microblading in Houston works
Step 1
The first step in your treatment will involve an initial consultation with one of the providers at ChristiMD.
The initial consultation is important for determining whether or not microblading is the best approach for an individual's unique concerns and goals.
Step 2
If you're a good candidate for microblading, we'll start the treatment by drawing your ideal brow shape and color in order to provide the best compliment for your facial features.
We'll then apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area and avoid any discomfort during the procedure.
Step 3
During the procedure, your provider will use a special tool with multiple needles to make small cuts into the skin.
Rather than cutting deep, however, the cuts are more similar to paper cuts. We then insert pigments into treated areas to create realistic and natural-looking strokes of hair. All in all, the treatment takes about 1 to 2 hours to complete!

No! Microblading doesn’t involve any eyebrow shaving. Instead, we’ll work with any existing hair you have, with any reduction only used with patient’s permission in order to get your ideal shape.
Microblading in Houston is meant to be a semi-permanent solution. If you’re dissatisfied with your results or want to discontinue treatment, your full Microblading results should fade after roughly two to three years.
We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before using makeup on your eyebrows after a Microblading procedure. With that said, you can use makeup everywhere else on your face!
